Baptism for Taylor and Wyatt Cowboy.........

Yes - you read that right.............."Cowboy" is really the last name!! These are Brandii McCabe's two children. Brandii was baptized a couple of months ago and her children asked for the discussions on their own and made their own decisions.............They are beautiful children. Taylor goes by "Pumpkin"............Elder Hafen gave a talk at the baptism and of course Sister Hafen AGAIN on the piano...........we love it!

Office Visit from SLC

Wednesday and Thursday we had Mike Anderson and another associate from Salt Lake City visit our Employment office for a review. The church has a new web site that is pretty major for job search, etc........it will be announced in January but we are beginning it now in our office.....it is busy and is going to be major change. We will be required to travel more and visit some individual units in Chile and Gallup stakes (about 20 some units) to try to get them more educated in the employment services offered by the church. We had lunch on Thursday and enjoyed some Navajo fare!!! We find we are constantly being stretched in new ways and love the challenge................and the challengers!

CHRISTMAS IS COMING.................

We had a fun surprise tonight..................after our Addiction Recovery meeting - the Etsitty's surprised us and brought us a little tree with lights!!!! Hooray - so we had Johanna and the Elders come as well so we could have a "tree trimming" party!! We did hot chocolate and brownies.....you can see what fun we had......These people are AWESOME!

Zone Interviews in Polacca

We traveled to Polacca for zone interviews and a pot luck lunch..........(another cooking day!) We always take two items..........I did a big fruit salad and the peanut butter bars topped with milk chocolate - which were a real HIT!

President Beck was so excited about our success and growth here in Window Rock. We are at the top of the charts with reactivation, attendance at Sacrament Meetings, and missionary conversions (baptisms).............That is for the WHOLE entire Phoenix Mission!!!! Hooray for Window Rock.............when we came there was just a scattering of people really at sacrament meeting............(ab0out 50-60) and now we are having and average of 130-140..............it is so great..........

Pictures of Sister Cain -she did 14 hair cuts at the interviews - from missionaries all over..... (that was within a very SHORT time ) - she is fast and she loves doing it!
