Sunday - August 16th
We did get our new Elder Pearce. He is from Florida. It is so interesting - he was here on his mission and he served here for about 6 months. Then he injured his arm and was sent home to Florida to have surgery and was there 4 months recuperating........and now he is back in the mission field and they sent to him again to Window Rock! He is a wonderful young man and he and Elder Wilson seem to really have connected quickly. Last night they brought over "fry bread"...............they are going to practice every day until the Navajo Nation Fair and enter the "fry bread" competition..................so who knows..............we'll probably be eating "fry bread" every night!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll be round as balloons if that happens! Ha ha!
