Just finished having the Elders, Elder & Sister Brown and Daniel Laughing to pot roast dinner.....fun to fill our kitchen with food, laughter, prayer and love.............Brother Tulley came over late last night to see if I would teach the Relief Society lesson (women's organization) in church today..........so I was happy to do that! It turned out really good, we had a room full of sisters and nice spirit there through it all. I also played the piano for Sister Stevens who had to travel to Pinon to church............After church Brother Tulley asked us to come to his home to help give his wife a Priesthood blessing. That was a good experience too. She is having real trouble with her knees and has trouble walking.
Since writing last we have had busy days. We had Zone Interviews again in Polacca - they did have the air conditioning repaired there (hooray!) The office remains busy every day. Elder Hafen enjoyed doing Bishop Willie's chores again while they went to Utah to be there for the blessing of his new baby granddaughter, Juliette...............he is pretty proud! The chores were really fun..........new baby colt with one mother...........the other one he fed before by hand, is growing bigger........he has everything - horses (beautiful animals), cattle, goats, sheep, chickens, cats, dogs - beautiful garden and yard.
The Addiction Recovery Program continues to be a success...........we feel so good about the blessing this program is to the lives of people. We are grateful to be able to work with them.
We have the Elders for dinner about twice a week (and then the drop in times throughout the other days) for ice cream, cookies, etc........and a report of their success and disappointments throughout the day.
